Function
To effectively serve as a liaison linking Minority and Female Businesses with City of Atlanta related business opportunities, and to encourage equal opportunity for all businesses and individuals in the Atlanta workplace.

Minority/Female Business Enterprise (M/FBE) Register

The mission of the Equal Business Opportunity Program is to mitigate the effects of the past and present discrimination against women and minority business.  The City of Atlanta has found that African American, Female, Hispanic, Asian American and Native American owned businesses have suffered the effects of racial and gender discrimination in both public and private markets, resulting in a disproportionate award of contract dollars to non-minority or non-female businesses.  It is the responsibility of the Office of Contract Compliance to promote full and equal business  opportunity for all persons doing business with the City of Atlanta
