Empowerment Zone Neighborhood Plans
The City is coordinating the development of or updating of master plans for 11 Empowerment Zone neighborhoods. The following studies were completed in 2001:
- Reynoldstown Redevelopment Plan, adopted in January 2001
- Castleberry Hill Master Plan, adopted in February 2001
- Memorial Drive Corridor neighborhoods – Cabbagetown and North Grant Park
The following studies have been completed and should be adopted this year.
- Vine City Master Plan
- Pittsburgh Redevelopment Plan
In addition, an update of the Old Fourth Ward and Butler Auburn Redevelopment Plans will begin this year.
