In late January, the City of Atlanta opened its sixth neighborhood technology center at the Collier Heights Recreation Center located at 3691 Collier Drive. The District 10 facility will provide public access to computer training and technology so that all Atlantans are exposed to the technical knowledge that will allow them to succeed in the "electronic" age.

The Collier Heights location offers classes to adults and seniors and has an after-school program for youth from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00p.m. Monday through Friday. Current course offerings include Introduction to Computers, Computer Applications, and The Community Portal.
