City Council President among 100 Most Influential Atlantans 
Atlanta – Atlanta City Council President Ceasar C. Mitchell made the list of 100 Most Influential Atlantans. President Mitchell and several other well-known Atlantans from business, government, arts, philanthropy, and media were chosen by a panel of journalists and recognized at a black tie gala at the Georgian Terrace Hotel on Thursday, October 20.

SHINE – Sustainable Home Initiative in the New Economy, is a federally grant-funded program offering homeowners the ability to receive up to $3,500 in rebates towards air sealing, insulation improvement, weatherstripping, caulking, and the replacement of leaky doors and windows.

Atlanta City Councilmember Aaron Watson (Post 2 At-Large) and the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition (ABC) invite citizens to join them on a series of 10-mile bike rides to outdoor farmers’ markets across the city. On Saturday, April 30, Watson and the ABC will depart from Atlanta City Hall for a bike ride through intown neighborhoods to reach the Peachtree Road Farmers Market before returning to city hall.
